This Friday and Saturday the SNOW Film Festival NYC will be hosted at Tribeca Cinemas down at the corner of Varick Street & Laight. The event’s presented by Skullcandy and will show 24 of the “latest and greatest International Ski & Snowboard Films” including documentaries, feature films, and independent videos.
If the chance to see some of the year’s best videos on the big screen isn’t enough for you, there will also be some world premieres, Q&A sessions with filmers and riders, an art expo, and panel discussions about both cinema and climate issues. So whether your an aspiring cinematographer, avid rider, art enthusiast, or activist looks like Tribeca’s the place to be this weekend…
General admission for each showing is $20, but if you buy online ahead of time and enter the code SFFRIEND10 you’ll get $5 off, courtesy of Skullcandy. The fest begins Friday night at 6pm and starts back up Saturday at 3:50pm so snag your tickets, your buddies and some popcorn!
