OvR is kicking off the season with a bang! Standard Film’s “2112″ will screening while you party the season in, open bar style. Plus, all proceeds will directly benefit the Waves to Water organization and StillWater, who are working to help restore the Rockaways and the NJ shore. Did we mention there will be raffles and giveaways from Burton Snowboards, Nike Snowboards, Patagonia and others. For those of you who want to keep the party going afterwards, OvR is heading up to Mount Snow the following morning.

NYSG 4th Annual Gear Swap and Social Fundraiser

The New York Snowboarding Group is hosting their 4th Annual Gear Swap and Social Fundraiser this Sunday, November 11th from 1pm – 6pm. The swap will take place on the 9th floor at 166 Crosby Street (between Houston and Bleeker). Don’t miss out on the silent/live auctions on all types of gear, tons of raffle prizes (including snowboards and free lift tickets), and FREE beer provided by Long Trail.

Come check out the premiere of Think Thank’s “Mind The Video Man” at Mountain Creek‘s Red Tail Lodge. Watch the most creative snowboarding while kicking it next to a bonfire. We are also going to be screening Salomon Snowboards “Team Vacation” and Keep The Change‘s “Holy Smokes”. Look out for shots of the Salomon team ripping Mountain Creek apart. Come hungry and thirsty!
