Armada was the first independent freeskiing company, and is known for being founded by pro riders. In 2002, skiers Tanner Hall, JP Auclait, JF Cusson, Julien Regnier, Boyd Easley and photographer Chris O’Connell joined together to make a company that would defy the mainstream perception of skiing. Their slogan, “Armada is what skiing will become” sums up their ambitious drive; today they distribute in 40 nations across the globe and are one of the most successful free-ski brands. Armada makes skis, poles, outwear, apparel, and accessories that reflect it’s influence from athletes, artists, and technology.
