Base + Edges
WAX INFUSED ENDURO™ BASE:
A favorite in the CAPiTA collection because of its versatility. This base material strikes a unique and sought after balance between high
performance and low maintenance. They are highly wax absorbent and allow longer time periods between waxing sessions. These bases are created by taking pellets of
extra-high-molecular-weight Polyethylene and compressing them through heat and pressure. The minuscule spaces left behind absorb wax and allow for extended periods of high speed shredding as the wax wicks to the surface while you ride. This prevents your base from drying out and keeps the surface feeling freshly waxed throughout the day. Properly maintained sintered bases are fast, durable, and are the preferred choice of pro snowboarders worldwide.
1.5 mm CORK DAMPENING:
Damp, durable, and lighter than rubber, our new CORK EDGE DAMPENING SYSTEM is placed in between the steel edge and the ABS sidewall for increase protection from blunt force impacts. The Ultrafear features this exclusive dampening system underfoot where most boards meet rails, and the Scott
Stevens Pro features a full contact length system because with him… you just never know what’s going to happen.

Cork Inlaid Pro Core:
The CORK INLAID PRO CORE™ was engineered specifically for Scott’s unique riding style allowing an extreme mix of dampening and durability with the energy required for spontaneous and creative riding. Comprised of an even mix of Poplar and Paulownia wood with cork recessed into 30% of the top of the core, the CORK INLAID PRO CORE™ is the damp and durable core custom made to meet the needs of Sleepy Stevens himself.
DYNAWEAVE™ FIBERGLASS:
The DYNAWEAVE™ configuration features Triaxial fiberglass on the top of the core and Biaxial fiberglass beneath, creating more response while increasing strength and durability. Combine this layup with a specialized resin and one of the many additives we have available and you get a high performing board tailored to meet your style of riding.
PRE-CURED BASALT BEAMS:
Originating from solidified volcanic lava, BASALT is an abundant resource long known for it’s thermal properties, strength, and durability. When carefully oriented into the
board, this natural material helps you increase power and pop while creating a damp, calm ride. We have PRE-CURED this into an arched shape that counters the board's camber profile. This counter acting configuration multiplies the energy when the board is flexed and creates a board with twice the ollie power and response than a board with
standard BASALT additives.
EVO-RESIN:
Low temperature requirement, consistent and durable output. This resin system has a bio-content of 60% renewable, agricultural raw materials. It is plant based that does
not compete with primary food sources and is produced with no waste or green house emissions.

These versatile boards feature a dual reverse camber Flat Kick freestyle shape. Flat based from outer insert to outer insert provides stability at high speeds on groomed runs. Elevated contact points turn on a dime and float effortlessly while stomping in powder.
