4000 Sintered Base:
This is the fastest natural base material available. It is exceptionally durable and absorbs wax deep into the pores of the material to hold that well-waxed performance for as long as possible.

Camber:
The best of both worlds. Sometimes nothing can replace the lively and classic feel of traditional camber. By adding the classic arc geometry to our rocker oriented Baseline you get the best of both worlds. In both centered and shifted versions of camber offers predictable pop and a precise edge initiation and hold. The Eighty Seven features camber throughout the midsection with rise in the tip and tail for float and maneuverability.

Tweekend:
Continuous rocker function. By tweaking the ends of our boards, we have taken the industry-leading Baseline technology to the next level. By extending the Baseline rocker all the way out to the absolute ends of the board, new ride-able surface is unlocked, giving you a bigger, more stable platform to press, float and land on.

Patented Hybritech Construction:
Hybritech is the most efficient way to make a snowboard without sacrificing one ounce of performance. Featuring sidewall along the running surface that flows into the nose and tail providing low swing-weight, optimizing turn initiation, and durability.

Hybrilight Construction:
K2's exclusive Hybrilight construction features a thin, constant thickness sidewall designed for maximum performance and minimal material usage. The result is a lighter, more advanced snowboard with significantly less waste produced in manufacturing. Better on the hill and greener for the hill.

W2 Core:
Three species of renewable wood are assembled to optimize strength, reduce weight, and enhance damping without the addition of other material

Bambooyah Blend:
A skate inspired horizontal laminated core. Build for ultimate durability it is offered in two levels each with extra long warranty coverage. Bambooyah Blend created for models that could benefit from just a little bit of Bamboo's incredible strength. A little Bamboo goes a long way.

Carbon Web:
Optimized to match our Baseline profiles, carbon web boosts the feel and energy return of our boards. Offered in two levels of sensitivity the Carbon Web extends out beyond the contact points, supporting the whole length of the tip and tail. Resulting in more connected feedback loop for terrain to rider.

Biaxial Fiberglass With ICG:
Integrating carbon into the fiberglass overall weight and creating a super smooth release of power while increasing pop and liveliness. Each level of ICG is tailored for the rider at hand and their performance needs. Biaxial fiberglass is the classic structure laminate, biax glass provides balanced all-purpose flex and performance.

These new, radical shapes are not there because they look cool or catch attention. We have spent countless hours refining every aspect of each design to maximize performance on all types of snow. This idea is not just for powder. At the center of this new shaping direction is the idea of Volume Shift. Now, we know technically it is surface area that we are playing with, but the word volume seems to sum it up more intuitively. It is a close cousin to the volume surfboard shapers play with in their boards. By shifting the volume around your feet the board glides and interacts with the snow in brand new ways.
