Nidecker Astral Snowboard

Based on the popular Merc, the Astral is sized specifically for women and smaller riders. Its secret sauce is the CamRock profile that smooths turn initiation and gives great edge hold with fewer hang-ups. A mellow flex pattern makes it easy to load presses, but thanks to Pop Carbon inlays at each end there's a ton of ollie power on tap. This is a super versatile and playful board that will inspire you to take your riding to the next level.
The Astral is constructed using Triax fiberglass, which makes it feel super responsive edge-to-edge and stable at high speed.
Carbon inlays are added towards the nose and tail to dampen chatter and give your ollies more snap.
The Astral's core blends two species of wood (poplar and paulownia) for the best of all worlds: light, strong and responsive.

Shape + Flex

Mid-Soft Flex: Playful and relaxed. A mid-soft flex lets you get creative across the whole mountain, from park hits to powder butters.
CamRock: Mixes classic camber between the bindings with matching amounts of rocker at the nose and tail. By shortening the contact edge, the board feels a little more relaxed, whether you're initiating turns or landing tricks.
