Convertible Gear: the Foursquare Easel Jacket + Frame Custom Fleece
On 27, Jan 2012 | No Comments | In Fresh Arrivals, Updates | By Lisa
The weather can’t make up it’s mind, so why should you have to? Pick up a piece that can be worn multiple ways & ta-da! you’re prepared for anything. Foursquare Outerwear goes by the slogan “Everything has a purpose,” making them a go-to brand for functional design, construction & materials.
The 2012 Women’s Easel Jacket is a 10.000MM/10,000G, hooded style that comes with a removable tech flannel liner. The outer shell is a 2L Microshield dobby weave fabric with taffeta lining & fully taped seams- great to wear by itself on wet, blustery days. The plaid tech flannel acts as a discrete, insulating layer on the hill and has moisture wicking abilities too. When worn alone, it makes a soft & cozy apres-ready top.
The Men’s 2012 Frame Custom Fleece is a functional full-zip hoodie that gives you that layered look without the bulk. The nylon fabric has a 600MM coating for additional waterproofing while the 300gm brushed fleece keeps you nice & warm. Undo the covered zips at each shoulder to remove the sleeves & layer as much or as little as you want. Great on mellow days spent hiking the park AND on every other day, makes an undeniably good-looking hoodie.

Volcom Peanut Butter and Rail Jam at Mountain Creek – Jan. 28th, 2012
On 26, Jan 2012 | No Comments | In Events, Updates | By Justin
The Volcom PBRJ tour is back for the 2011- 2012 season! The tour is a amateur snowboard contest series. Instead of having three rails in a row, we have them side by side to create a rail zone. There are four divisions; 15 and under, 16 and over, Girls and Open (pro-am). The contest runs in a jam format so there are no scheduled runs. Each heat is 20 minutes and you have the option to hit each feature as many times as you want. The overall atmosphere is great. Jeff Arnold is a character as a judge and announcer. Everyone is a winner and they give competitors a free t-shirt and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
