Hemp:The Motorcycle jacket is Holden’s interpretation of a classic American style in an environmental fabrication. Holden has pioneered the use of Hemp in snowsports and our hemp fabric is comprised of 49% organic cotton, 26% hemp and 25% recycled polyester and features a solvent free lamination. It has a soft organic feel and a chambray linen look, finished with a face cire to improve water repellency. Hemp by nature is extremely durable and the use of recycled PET Polyester from plastic bottles adds stability to the fabric without creating pollution. Our hemp also features NanoSphere® DWR, a ground breaking environmentally friendly durable water repellency developed for textiles that mimics nature’s self cleaning principle and actively repels snow, water, dirt and other particles.
