Requested by K2's Team, the Party Platter was redesigned from the ground up with all-terrain enjoyment on the mind. As a brand, it was important for K2 to stay true to the personality and DNA of the Party Platter; K2 just wanted to evolve on this model as snowboarding as a whole has continued to evolve.
In the re-think of the Party Platter, K2 updated the Baseline™ to its Directional Combination Camber profile to ensure more energy in and out of turns without sacrificing the loose and surfy feel that the Party Platter is known for. This, coupled with the Ollie Bar™, gives the Party Platter good snap without feeling rigid and dull. The updated Party Platter features a longer running length and more volume in the tail than its predecessor.

Biaxial Glass: Smooth all-purpose performance with a no-frills design. Fibers are woven together at 0° and 90°, creating a more forgiving flex pattern.
Ollie Bar: Built in place in a pre-loaded cambered shape and placed between the binding inserts, the Ollie Bar™ silences the myth that rocker boards don’t have the same pop that cambered snowboards do.
Volume Shift: K2 moved volume from the tips and tails of traditional snowboard shapes and placed it underfoot where it can be better controlled. This makes a wider, shorter design that maintains the same float and stability of a traditional board, but increases mobility and maneuverability. More slashing and better lines in the trees are now a reality.
