Ladies-only crew Peepshow impressed & inspired riders of both sexes with Let’s Make Better Mistakes Tomorrow & their internet-debut Peep Show, but by the looks of this teaser for their latest film, these girls have taken things to a whole new level. Winter Wars is due out this August & features the talents of Bryn Valaika, Claudia Avon, Colleen Quigley, Danyale Patterson, Darrah Reid-McLean, Desiree Melancon, Gabi Viteri, Jess Kimura, Joanie Robichaud, Laura Hadar, Madison Blackley, Silvia Mittermuller and friends.

NJ Helmet Law

Earlier this month Gov. Christie signed a bill requiring all NJ skiers & snowboarders age 17 or younger to wear a helmet on the mountain. Effective November 1st, parents/guardians will be subject to fines ($25 for 1st offense, $100 for subsequent offenses) each time their law-breaking grom is caught helmet-less. We’ll probably get some whining & eye-rolls from the teenagers, but let’s be real: we all know it’s a good idea. The sport’s all about progression & if after Kevin Pearce’s injury this winter, you still don’t have a helmet– it’s about time you start protecting your skull!

Shredding for Japan

This Saturday show your support for Japan by shredding a skate-style rhythm course at Hunter!
Registration will be open from 10am – Noon inside the Lodge, followed by a riders meeting at the Yurt.
The course promises be the most progressive BMX/Skate/Boardercross/ Rhythm Track you have ever seen on SNOW! Skiers and snowboarders welcome!
Course wristbands cost $15; all proceeds are being donated to MercyCorps to help the crisis in Japan. You’ll be able to hit the track as many times as you want and receive raffle tickets for prizes including skis, snowboards, helmets, outwear, goggles and more. (Lift tickets are required to compete & can be purchased for $25. Season passes will be honored)
Raffle tickets will also be on sale to the general public, so there’s really no excuse…good times for a good cause! RSVP & check Hunter’s blog for event updates
Rep Your Crew at Hunter
