Flow‘s hitting the east coast next week for their Was Here premiere in Hoboken. Come out to watch this year’s team video, enjoy a cold beverage & win some prizes while you’re at it. If Tim Humphreys is doing it, then you should too!

Standing Sideways NYC

Burton’s Standing Sideways will making it’s NYC stop this Thursday 10/13 in SoHo. The flick is being shown at Santo’s Party House on Lafayette, with an athlete autograph session beforehand at the B‘s Flagship store featuring Jussi Oksanen, Terje Haakonsen, Mark Sollors, Kazu Kokubo, Ethan Deiss, Mikkel Bang, Jack Mitrani, Danny Davis, Mark McMorris and Mikey Rencz.
All-ages autograph session is from 6:30 – 7:30PM
Doors to Santo’s open at 9PM, madness ensues at 10:30PM — Sorry kids, Santo’s is 21+
(After-party spot is yet to be announced, but should start around 11:30PM)

Forum‘s latest flick, Vacation is just days away from it’s premiere in Huntington Beach, CA but we’re more interested in the tour’s east coast stop. With a known track record of brain-melting team videos & throwing epic parties, October 23rd can’t come soon enough.

The 1st premiere was in New Paltz, the past 2 years in Brooklyn, and this year they’re bringing it to the Lower East Side Manhattan. It’s 21+ so bring your ID’s to Tammany Hall 152 Orchard Street. (Oh, and it’s till 4 PM so make sure you put an extra shot of espresso in your Irish coffee’s before you head to the venue.)

If you remember the last teaser from the girls at Peepshow, prepare to be extremely jealous. Not only did Session 5 campers at High Cascade get sunny skies & giant doughnuts, but they also got to be the first to watch their latest flick, Winter Wars.

Riders including Bryn Valaika, Colleen Quigley, and Laura Hadar were at the showing in Government Camp where lucky campers got to watch the film, hear from the film’s creators and to top it all off, arm-wrestle for a Roxy Ollie Pop.
“The Art of Flight” Premiere

Finally the wait is over! We’ve been painfully patient for a release date ever since the teaser for The Art of Flight came out- thankfully it looks like we can start the countdown. Red Bull Media House & Brain Farm Digital Cinema will be premiering the film at NYC’s Beacon Theater on September 7th.
The Art of Flight features riders Travis Rice, John Jackson, Mark Landvik, Scotty Lago, Nicolas Muller, DCP, Jake Blauvelt, Pat Moore, Jeremy Jones and more during their travels to some of the most scenic locations in the world. Captured over a 2-year period, the film was shot using cutting-edge cameras & tools for a revolutionary look at the world of snowboarding. The film will be available on DVD & iTunes on September 8th and screened in select cities throughout the US beginning September 10th.
